Caprice Gold Hotel
Red has been appointed to carry out the full design of the MEP services for this new build 140,000m2 €225m hotel. The building rises 16 storeys above ground and also has the challenge of designing the luxury five-star services within nine storeys of basement levels.
The building offers over 20 indoor pools and spas within two levels of basement, as well as external pools within the landscaped grounds, all separated into men’s and women’s facilities. In addition the building also accommodates over seven restaurants and five high end retail units.
All building services, including those for five basement storeys of car park, are being designed to current European standards and regulations, as well as local Turkish environment legislation.
The building employs full engineering services and a sustainable design approach including:
- High-efficacy lighting and lighting control
- Heat recovery to mechanical ventilation
- High-efficiency water-cooled chillers
- Low energy EC/DC fan coil units
- Power factor correction
- Gas fired CHP
