Manor Royal

Red was commissioned by SEGRO to work on a commercial development at Manor Royal, Crawley, for leading French defence company, Thales. The requirement was for a new HQ campus comprising two office buildings of 134,625 sq ft and 54,584 sq ft, together with a research building of 182,110 sq ft. The office buildings were developed to a shell and core finish to enable the occupier to undertake its own bespoke fit-out.

The new complex achieved the phased relocation of six Thales UK business units located across South East England, uniting circa 2500 staff on one site, plus manufacturing and service centres, facilities for aircrew training, synthetic environments, train safety systems, naval communication, credit card security, radar systems, electronic warfare and mission systems.
