The Shareholders and Directors of RED are delighted with what the company has achieved since its formation 12 years ago, which has only been possible due to the loyal support of our Clients and the talented team we work with.
During the last 12 months, the shareholders have been exploring various options to take the business forward into its next phase and we are pleased to announce that we have accepted an offer from Tractebel Engineering S.A. who have taken a 70% stake in the RED group.
Tractebel is a global engineering consultancy headquartered in Brussels, specialising in energy and infrastructure and is part of the ENGIE group.
Tractebel and ENGIE has worldwide presence and their focus is on the provision of energy and infrastructure consultancy services rather than MEP; we therefore see excellent synergies between our two companies with complementary rather than overlapping services.
The existing RED shareholders remain part of the shareholding group and are committed to their roles in leading the business in its key sectors working alongside our valued clients and staff to achieve this goal.
The day to day management of the RED companies will not change for the foreseeable future and we will take advantage of a "joined-up" group structure to service our international portfolio of clients with all businesses sat under RED Group Holdings Limited moving forward.
We are confident that with our new partner, opportunities will be greater, our resource and reach will increase and our high levels of service will continue.
We appreciate the continued support from our clients and are genuinely excited for the future of our business.
RED’s Directors will continue to maintain our existing relationships but should you have any queries concerning these developments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to continuing to work with you all over the coming months and years.
