RED’s Jim Campbell participated in the “Data Centre Design, Construction and Operation” panel discussion at today’s Datacloud India event in New Delhi.
The drive for digital continues to see exponential need for compute capacity and as industry and policy see further metropolitan and regional IT hubs develop, the infrastructure to support this must develop in parallel. The discussion panel talked about the impact of increased demand on existing data centre infrastructure and how the industry can coordinate with the grid to ensure a sustainable, long-term strategy for the sector. The discussion also covered the supply-chain in place to support data centre expansion and the impact of emerging technologies, such as IoT, AI and edge services on data centre operations.
Datacloud India is promoted as the defining forum for international data centre, cloud & edge executives. This new event for India provides a networking and business deal-making forum for data centre, cloud and Edge players, their customers, investors and suppliers across the region.
