In a gala ceremony at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, Red were delighted to have two engineers as finalists. Tom Kingham and Luke Walker.

We are extremely pleased that the judges named design engineer Tom as Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year, in the third annual Datacentre Leaders Awards. Red’s directors were also delighted to see the success of clients Computacenter, Fujitsu and Infinity ONE, all of whom made winning submissions.

Tom’s award was presented to him by the evening’s host, comedian Frankie Boyle, who emphasised the extent to which the judges were impressed by Tom’s technical contribution, as well as his academic achievements and ability to both lead and be part of successful teams.

The Datacentre Leaders’ Awards are supported by The Green Grid, The BCS and Intellect and organised by DatacenterDynamics. The judging process is overseen by the BCS, with Zahl Limbuwala, Chair of the Data Centre Specialist Group at the BCS, chairing the judging panel.
