New Build Data Centre - Tier IV

RED was the Lead Consultant for a 44,000 m² new build ‘seismically isolated’ data centre facility, responsible for the management and integration of all disciplines including architectural and structural engineering. Main objective was to deliver an Uptime Tier IV certified and LEED certified data centre facilities facility that fully met the client’s requirements and which provided cost effective flexibility for technology expansion. Scope covers all project stages from concept to full detailed design through to construction and post-handover checks.

Delivered using a highly energy‐efficient design approach, the facility has achieved the Uptime Institute Tier IV Certification for Design. In addition, this data centre is the first Tier IV Constructed Facility and Tier IV Operational Sustainability Gold certified and the first LEED v4 Gold data centre, to be certified in Turkey.
