RED provided MEP consultancy services for the design and construction of a concurrently-maintainable data centre located in Slough. The project included delivering 2,310m2 of IT space within a 12 month period to meet growing customer demand.
New infrastructure and data hall build within fallow space of an existing live data centre.
RED produced a site Masterplan to ultimately support 23.5MW of IT load over 11,500m2 of IT space.
New plant room space created by building new mezzanine level above existing fallow space.
Distributed redundant topology to allow phased deployment to meet customer demand.
Flexibility to deliver customised UPS and PDU methodology. Site originally developed to support 12.5MW now capable of delivering 23.5MW IT.
Operates at raised cooling temperatures to maximize energy efficiency.
