BRIZA is an online based app, developed entirely in-house at RED, which has been built to model any data centre facility and its corresponding steady state air, water and power flows, thereby providing full energy and water utilisation and efficiency data throughout the engineering infrastructure. It has been developed as an innovative way to quickly determine energy and water efficiency including PUE/WUE values and to engage with clients, providing an effective method of communicating design ideas and promoting discussion around data centre design solutions and efficiency.

RED uses dynamic thermal simulation tools to predict carbon emissions and analyse the effectiveness of carbon reduction initiatives. Point Cloud surveys are used to establish the exact dimensions of existing architecture, structure and services. This helps form the basis of our Revit Model. RED uses Point Cloud Surveys to recreate Revit models of existing facilities.
