Marketing Coordinator -

Newcastle

RED are an expanding international M&E consultancy, with a proven track record in low energy design, focused on providing excellent design solutions to clients.

We are now seeking a Marketing Coordinator that will be working with the Global Head of Business Development & Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager and wider marketing team (UK and abroad) to enhance RED’s marketing strategy with a focus on channel and content strategy, creation, and helping to drive brand engagement, reputation and awareness among key audience segments.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Global Business Development, work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing & Media Designer and Marketing Graduate in the UK to enhance RED’s brand presence across key marketing platforms.
  • An exceptional copywriter, brand custodian, proof reader and storyteller with close attention to detail and compelling execution of tone of voice guidelines.
  • A creative thinker and team player, able to develop engaging editorial content to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders and make strategic channel recommendations.
  • Assisting in the coordination of corporate events, exhibitions and preparation for speaker events
  • Coordinate and implement the digital marketing strategy to achieve new customer acquisition, drive client engagement and increase brand awareness.
  • An accomplished user (or experienced user of similar) digital marketing platforms including Google Analytics, MOZ (SEO), Hootsuite / Social Studio, Wrike, Canva, Envato Elements, Adobe Creative Cloud, website CMS, and CRM automation software such as Salesforce, Pardot and MailChimp.
  • Assist in the design and creation of engaging content, including photography, video, copywriting and social media posts, executing their release across RED’s digital channels, including website, CRM / email and social media channels.
  • Contribute to keyword research and its implementation in website optimisation and integration in brand content, seeking to maximise engagement and reach among target audiences.
  • Undertake an ongoing review of content on the RED website by liaising with appropriate department heads and team members, in order to add value to the divisional web pages
  • Effectively monitor, analyse and report on digital activity, making strategic recommendations on how to increase engagement and optimise existing, or develop additional, channels.
  • Support in all aspects of content production, internally and externally, as required, including the development and coordination of company and marketing templates, capability statements, library of graphics and infographics.
  • Assist in the conversion of static brand content into condensed, engaging content formats for use across digital channels and at key events.
  • Identify cost effective media opportunities from within RED’s marketplace and work with internal and external colleagues to develop sector and/or service specific brand collateral.
  • Adhering to GDPR practices, maintain, expand and utilise our existing database of clients.
  • Proofread and liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of all published material.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Design, Media, Marketing or similar
  • Min 3 years’ experience in similar marketing role
  • Experience of copywriting, proofreading and producing engaging communications to external audiences
  • Digitally savvy with an excellent understanding of digital marketing tools (web, email marketing, social media, etc)
  • Highly-organised and proven project manager
  • Experience in working across levels to understand project requirements and timescales
  • Excellent understanding of how marketing underpins the wider business strategy and enhances the RED brand identity
  • Able to produce appropriate content in line with business need, tone of voice, brand guidelines and competitor analysis
  • A track record of owning multi-channel creative projects and strategy
  • Outstanding eye for detail
  • A clear passion and flair for marketing, content and channel analysis
  • Able to work accurately and effectively, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
  • Able to work autonomously and with direction from senior colleagues
  • Able to deliver content solutions for a range of services and industries.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to interpret and negotiate briefs and communicate with internal and external team members.
  • A creative thinker and natural problem solver
  • A broad understanding of design techniques, best practice, and limitations.
  • Able to use Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with working knowledge of Canva and email software
