The Supplier Compliance Administrator plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of supplier management across UK/Europe. This position blends meticulous administrative execution with robust compliance oversight, ensuring that supplier onboarding, renewal, and governance processes align with RED’s operational standards and ethical expectations.
Role Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier administration across the UK and Europe.
- Manage the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, including pre-qualification checks (credit, ethics, references), documentation collection, and system entry (Salesforce and SAP).
- Oversee supplier renewals and maintain the database of approved suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries related to onboarding and ongoing supplier management.
- Support with preferential supplier analysis and generate reports to support strategic sourcing and compliance reviews.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within supplier management workflows.
- Escalate medium- and high-risk supplier profiles to the Head of Business Operations in line with the Go/No-Go assessment process.
- Ensure all suppliers acknowledge and comply with RED’s Supplier Code of Conduct, or provide equivalent documentation where applicable.
- Maintain and update compliance-related registers, including onboarding trackers, document control logs, and audit records, in alignment with ISO standards and internal policies.
- Support quarterly compliance reporting and internal audits by preparing supplier activity summaries and maintaining audit trails.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support supplier governance, including the development and maintenance of spreadsheets, databases, and registers.
Role Requirements
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in a general administration related role
- Good working knowledge / use of Office 365 Word / Excel / PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of other applications including software-based project and CRM management systems
- Previous supplier administration experience beneficial
- Friendly, polite and helpful manner
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good time management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Accuracy / Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with business administration systems and processes
- Hours flexibility (able to carry out overtime at short notice)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- An understanding of international working and business administration within that of a global consultancy.
