I am a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in Data Centres design.

My favourite part about working in building services is that I will never be able to say “I know everything about the industry.”

Being an engineer means that you work on projects that affect peoples day to day life. I admire how structures are designed and powered with the goal of improving the lives of those who will use them.

Women can make a difference in a sector where males make up the majority of the workforce. In some ways, I believe women have a different approach to planning and problem solving than men.

Construction projects require teamwork, coordination and effort from many people of all levels to complete a project successfully.

Women should not be scared by such duties and responsibilities, but rather feel confident and empowered by the prospect of a future in engineering.
