RED and its group affiliates ENGIE Insight Services Inc., Tractebel Impact Belgium SA and Engie Impact UK Limited (doing business together as “ENGIE Impact”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy ("Policy"). Your personal data is being gathered and processed by Engie Insight Services, Inc. as the data controller.

This Policy describes the types of personal information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit engieimpact.com and platform.engieimpact.com (our “Website”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

This Policy applies to personal information we collect:

Data Security

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of Personal Information along with measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Children Under The Age Of 16

Our Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any information, personal or otherwise, to or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 16 without verification or parental consent, we will delete that information. Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge.

We do not use a browser’s “do not track” signals, so if your browser is sending these, we do not interact with them in any way.

Legal Grounds For Processing

If you are a visitor from the European Economic Area, our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information no longer than is necessary and relevant for our operations. In addition, we may retain Personal Information to comply with national laws, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, and take other actions permitted or required by applicable national laws (e.g. to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your Personal Information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your Personal Information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Transfer Of Personal Information Outside The EU/EEA

We may transfer your Personal Information to, and process it in, countries other than the country in which you are resident, which are located outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). Specifically, our servers are located in the United States and our group companies and third party service providers and partners operate around the world. This means that when we collect your Personal Information we may process it in any of these countries.

Except where your Personal Information is transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA that have been officially recognised by the European Commission as countries that provide an adequate level of protection, in all other cases, we have taken appropriate safeguards to ensure that when your Personal Information is transferred to group companies or third parties outside the EU/EEA, your Personal Information will remain protected in accordance with this Policy. Such safeguards may include transferring the data to a company in the United States that has certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield framework or with whom we have signed the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or that has Binding Corporate Rules that were approved by the European Data Protection Board, or any other valid legal mechanism for lawfully transferring Personal Information outside the EU/EEA in accordance with the GDPR.
