I’m a Quality, Health and Safety Manager.

For the past 23 years I've worked in the engineering and construction sector by choice. I’ve enjoyed the challenge of each role I’ve held and I've been involved in many interesting projects along the way. I’ve worked for businesses that carry out operations, maintenance and design services in the private railway, bulk water and wastewater and specialist building services.

My career choices weren't particularly considered initially, however as soon as I was in the working world, I've made purposeful decisions about my career path.

Promoting women in engineering matters, if only to know that anyone, regardless of their gender, is offered equal unbiased opportunity in their career choices. Hopefully we can retain and improve on the number of women who want to work in the engineering field with a focused effort to support and recognise their skills and unique contribution.
