White City Phase 2

White City Phase 2 includes 427 mixed tenure apartments arranged over 3 cores from ground to level 26 with a basement car park and communal “Extra Care” area at ground floor. The project also includes basement plant areas within the Phase 1 demise.

Some of the key mechanical and electrical services include:

  • Energy centre which includes a 1.3MW(th)/1.28MW(e) CHP and 2no 2MW high efficiency boilers
  • 2No. LV substations providing the Low voltage electrical services to the development including the landlord services, residential services, commercial services and car charging services.
  • Landlord access control and CCTV systems
  • IT and Data systems
  • Low pressure & High pressure LTHW systems providing heating to apartments and residential facilities
  • 3No. Staircase smoke extract systems
  • A comprehensive BMS system to monitor and log operation of all individual systems

RED Solution

  • Commissioning management of the mechanical, electrical and public health infrastructure services
  • Development of an infrastructure services commissioning plan
  • Technical reviews of testing and commissioning method statements
  • Regular on-site inspections of the MEP installations
  • Witnessing of testing and commissioning activities and the review of all commissioning documentation
  • Chairing fortnightly building services commissioning meetings on site including critical path items
