LinkedINCandice is an operations, risk and governance leader with 25 years’ experience in compliance, operational risk management and organisational resilience across diverse industries and geographies.
As Operations Director, Candice holds global functional responsibility for Health & Safety, Security, IT, Facilities, Corporate Social Responsibility and RED’s Crisis Management Programme. Working closely with teams across the business, she supports the governance, systems and operational resilience that enable RED’s global operations and project delivery.
Since joining RED in 2020, Candice has played a significant role in strengthening the company’s operational governance framework during a period of rapid international growth. Her achievements include securing ISO 45001 certification, implementing RED’s supply chain onboarding process and establishing the company’s social value strategy, alongside the continued development of RED’s global health, safety and security governance programme.
Prior to RED, Candice held leadership positions within ENGIE business units and spent 14 years leading municipal water and wastewater operations in South Africa following seven years in the private railway sector. Her experience has provided extensive expertise in managing complex operations, regulatory compliance and organisational resilience within highly regulated environments.
Candice is recognised for developing practical, risk-based governance frameworks and management systems that support safe, ethical and compliant business operations. She works closely with leadership teams to strengthen organisational capability, enhance operational performance and ensure consistent standards across RED’s global business.
