Conor Cooney

Conor brings 17 years of experience across the energy sector, spanning renewables, future fuels, grid portfolios, and energy strategy and innovation.

He has led renewable, BESS, green hydrogen, thermal generation, and grid infrastructure projects, with extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and delivering complex energy transition programmes.

At RED, Conor plays a key role in leading energy and future fuels projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and supporting clients in the delivery of technically complex schemes. His experience spans project leadership, bid strategy, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with commercial objectives.
