We now seek a Marketing Manager to join us on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract starting in March 2026, in one of our UK offices (London, Newcastle or Bicester).

RED’s marketing team plays a central role in how the business is positioned globally - supporting growth, thought leadership, client engagement and internal initiatives across a fast-moving, international organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a marketer to contribute meaningfully within a complex B2B environment, working closely with a supportive, high-performing team. The work is varied, visible and impactful, with scope to shape campaigns, tell compelling stories and help evolve a recognised global brand.

Role Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager is a hands-on, end-to-end role responsible for delivering integrated B2B marketing activity across campaigns, content, social media, events and thought leadership.

The role is designed to remain closely connected to day-to-day delivery, with clear ownership of campaigns, priorities and team leadership. It plays a key role in maintaining business continuity and executing the annual marketing plan, while also offering scope to shape campaigns, develop new content opportunities and evolve marketing priorities in line with business needs.

Operating within a global organisation, the role requires strong stakeholder engagement, confident decision-making and the ability to balance delivery with strategic thinking.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Direct Reports: 2x Marketing Specialists & working closely with Digital Marketing Specialist (UK) and Collateral team based in Manila.

Key Responsibilities

Campaigns, Content & Channels

  • Own the end-to-end promotional content strategy across global campaigns, social media and events.
  • Plan, deliver and optimise integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact, scalable marketing content across global initiatives.
  • Oversee copywriting across multiple content types, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and brand voice.
  • Manage campaign, content, social and event calendars to ensure timely, coordinated delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using insights to inform optimisation and future planning.

Primary social channels: LinkedIn and Instagram.

 

Thought Leadership & Brand

  • Lead the execution of RED’s thought leadership programme across disciplines.
  • Work with internal subject-matter experts to identify, shape and deliver compelling content opportunities.
  • Support engagement with RED’s LinkedIn audience (c. 90k followers), exhibitions, client events and wider industry platforms.
  • Uphold and enforce brand guidelines across internal teams and external agencies, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity.

Events & Exhibitions

  • Own the global events and exhibitions programme.
  • Lead planning and execution of key industry events, including RED’s annual client event.
  • Coordinate content, logistics, agencies and on-site delivery.
  • Ensure events align with wider marketing campaigns and business development priorities.

Stakeholder & Internal Support

  • Act as a marketing partner to Engineering, Business Development, HR/Recruitment, ESG and leadership teams.
  • Support internal initiatives including IDEA (DEI), Women in RED, STEM and related programmes.
  • Provide presentation and PowerPoint support for senior colleagues, ensuring clarity, quality and brand alignment.
  • Align marketing activity with parent company requirements where needed, while maintaining RED’s brand integrity.
  • Work confidently across geographies, time zones and seniority levels.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Line manage two Marketing Specialists, providing clear direction, feedback and development support.
  • Maintain a hands-on leadership style, staying close to delivery while setting standards and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Manila-based collateral teams to ensure joined-up delivery.
  • Support learning and development planning for the team, including effective use of L&D budget.
  • Champion continuous improvement in workflows, processes and creative output.

Agencies, Budget & Delivery

  • Manage relationships with external agencies across web, SEO, graphic design and specialist support.
  • Take responsibility for budget execution and spend tracking in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard.

2026 Focus & Objectives

  • Maintain business continuity across campaigns, content and events.
  • Deliver the global events and exhibitions programme.
  • Provide consistent day-to-day management and direction for the marketing team.
  • Execute a structured, high-quality thought leadership programme.
  • Support alignment with parent company priorities.

Role Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within engineering, construction, infrastructure or professional services.7Strong end-to-end campaign delivery experience across multiple channels.7Experience planning and delivering events and exhibitions.
  • Line management experience, with a supportive and developmental approach.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to act as an effective copywriter and compelling storyteller, as well as confidently shaping and editing content produced by others.
  • Strong appreciation of brand, with the confidence to enforce brand standards across internal teams and agency partners.
  • Budget management and agency-management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across seniority levels and geographies.
  • Flexible, pragmatic approach to managing planned and unplanned priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering thought leadership or content-led marketing programmes.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, global organisation.
  • Familiarity with data centre, digital infrastructure or adjacent technical sectors.
  • Experience supporting ESG, DEI or employer-brand initiatives.
