Colleagues from our Dubai office recently underwent a meaningful CSR journey to the Ajman mangroves in Dubai, where we combined environmental action with team building in one of the UAE's most vital ecosystems.

Partnering with Companies for Good, a leading regional organisation dedicated to hands-on, high-impact sustainability and community initiatives, our team planted over 50 trees throughout the day – a small but significant contribution to preserving the UAE's natural heritage for future generations. ‑on, high‑impact sustainability and community initiatives,

This initiative reflects our wider commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship, with our Sustainability & Energy Performance specialists working alongside clients from concept through to completion, integrating environmental strategy directly into the built environment. From early-stage advisory to operational optimisation, we focus on reducing energy demand, lowering carbon emissions and improving long-term asset performance.

Sustainability and CSR are part of who we are at RED. Our planting initiative in Ajman is a reminder that our responsibility doesn’t end at project delivery - it extends to the communities and natural environments around us. As engineers shaping the built environment, we’re equally committed to protecting the natural one and taking practical steps that support a more resilient future for the UAE.
