PROJECT SUMMARY

This project covers MEP and process services design and consultancy for greenfield glass bottle manufacturing in Belgium.

Innovative furnaces

The facility will be equipped with two unique, innovative end-fired melting furnaces with waste heat recovery systems that are significantly less energy intensive and therefore emit less CO2.

Renewable Energy

Additional investment in residual heat boilers and absorption chillers to help recover energy for heating and cooling, as well as the use of renewable solar and wind energy on-site, will further reduce the plant’s carbon footprint.

Irrigation services

Rainwater ponds: Clean rainwater and surface water sources will be developed for process, domestic water and irrigation services.

RED's work was excellent and their experts collaborated closely with our Factory team, as well as the Tractebel team in Belgium.
