RED strengthens European leadership with the appointment of Guillaume Darmayan as Senior Director, France

RED is pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume Darmayan as Senior Director, France, as the business continues to strengthen its leadership team and expand its presence across Europe.

Guillaume joins RED to lead and grow the company’s engineering activities in France, supporting RED’s broader European growth strategy and reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the delivery of complex, high-performance engineering solutions.

Guillaume returns to France after 14 years based in Singapore, where he built extensive international experience across engineering, energy infrastructure, and business development in Southeast Asia. Most recently, he held a senior leadership role with ENGIE in Singapore, overseeing the development of ENGIE Local Energy Infrastructures across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. His responsibilities spanned district cooling networks, solar solutions, EV charging infrastructure, Data Centre M&E contracting, and facilities management.

Prior to ENGIE, Guillaume held senior positions within entrepreneurial energy efficiency businesses and led the expansion of the engineering arm of an offshore oil and gas installation contractor throughout Southeast Asia. Earlier in his career, he worked in Paris for both a strategy consulting firm and an independent solar power producer, developing a strong foundation in strategy, engineering delivery, and renewable energy.

At RED, Guillaume will be responsible for developing the French engineering team, strengthening client relationships, and driving the delivery of high-quality engineering services. His appointment further supports RED’s growth ambitions in Europe and its commitment to combining global expertise with strong local leadership.
