The scope of the project included various elements such as underground ducts, chambers, and cables for earthing, lightning protection systems, high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) switchboards, UPS systems, gas pipe networks, oil tanks, gas boosting compressors, black start diesel engines, SCADA controls equipment, and generator and compressor yard layouts. Additionally, the project involved HV/LV protection settings reports, interlocking GOOSE schemes, gas safety design workshops, layer protection analysis (LOPA), safety integrity level (SIL) assessments, hazardous area calculations (HAC), explosion protection documents (EPD), and consequence reports. Operational aspects were also considered, including generator sequence of operations, mechanical gas, water, and oil ancillary systems sequence of operations, fire alarm and gas detection cause and effect, and interface with DUB14/DUB15.
