Confidential Hyperscale Colocation Provider, Asia

Located in Asia, this greenfield facility is set to be largest carrier neutral data centre in its location when completed.

RED completed detail MEP design for the first phase of the campus and has commenced the concept and scheme design for the second phase. The scheme has been designed to achieved Green Mark Platinum certification.

Phase 1 design utilised scalable modular prefabricated techniques and a bespoke indirect evaporative cooling solution to achieve a market leading low PUE.

RED worked closely with the client during the feasibility and concept stages for phase 2 to evaluate different cooling options to allow for flexible deployment to
suit multiple potential tenant requirements while maintaining of improving upon the PUE achieved in phase 1.

The facility is specifically designed to serve hyperscale cloud, content and enterprise customers and is set to deliver 60MW IT load.

Progressing well ahead of schedule the facility is expected to meet the requirements BCA Green Mark Platinum certification and “industry low” power usage effectiveness (PUE). It will also meet security requirements such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS and Threat and Vulnerability Risk Assessment (TVRA) guidelines for financial organisations.
