Haydon Gardens

RED was appointed to provide MEP consultancy services for the development of a new residential block containing 87 apartments on the edge of the City of London.  The building is part of the Minories mixed use development which also includes a 300,000ft² office building 340 key hotel.

Combined services and a centralised CHP energy centre were used to save plant space and capital costs resulting in a highly energy efficient solution resolving complex Part L requirements.  The façade design was refined to optimise building energy consumption.  The services were designed to maximise tenant flexibility with an energy-efficient fan coil system with chilled beam option.
